Rumore's Record Rack, Homewood, Alabama.

Aside from being a DJ on WVOK, Mr. Joe Rumore also owned Rumore's Record Rack in downtown Birmingham first at 1802 2nd Avenue, North (top photo).  In 1970, Mr. Rumore moved Rumore's Record Rack to Homewood (bottom photo).  It closed in 1979.  CeCe and Marie were the lovely ladies that managed the Record Rack.  I remember the mail order specials he would run on Saturday's when you would buy 1 record and get 2 or 3 free.   I got to know CeCe and Marie very well.
